Our story

1998-2002

  • dreaming about devices the size of a day planner that could cost between $300-$500
  • preparing for Y2K (remember that?)
  • making technology a trusted tool for students and staff

2002-2009

  • piloting 1:1 technology (Palm M130's) with 6th grade students at Cityside Middle School (2002)
  • district migrates from a split Mac/PC district to mostly PC
  • Using Netbooks 1:1 with Summit School students for class work and reading interventions
  • Using Laptops 1:1 in an English/Social Studies classroom at West High School
  • migration from Novell to Active Directory
  • migration from GroupWise to Google
  • DeJong Study
